On October 10, 2014, shareholder, D. David Keller was invited to present as speakers at the 2014 Southeast Legal Malpractice Summit sponsored by Florida Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company in partnership with the Broward County Bar Association. Mr. Keller moderated a judicial panel entitled: Avoiding Ethical and Malpractice Risks in the Courtroom.

Participants included an impressive roster of local attorneys and judges, including the Honorable Judge Alan O. Forst, the Honorable Judge William P. Dimitrouleas, the Honorable Judge Jeffrey Streitfeld and the Honorable Judge Alfred J. Horowitz.

The all-day Continuing Legal Education seminar provided valuable information related to professional liability claims, with each speaker offering advice and other commentary for avoiding legal malpractice and other ethical pitfalls. The seminar aimed to assist attorneys in establishing and implementing a successful risk management program within their law firms.
