2018 Announcement

Keller Landsberg PA is pleased to announce that it has promoted to partnership Dena Beth Sacharow, Maria N. Vernace, Elizabeth A. Izquierdo and Maria P. Gonzalez.  The Firm congratulates them on their achievements and looks forward to their continued success.

Dena Sacharow joined Keller Landsberg in 2010.  Her practice is focused on legal malpractice defense, personal injury and property damage property insurance defense and insurance coverage and liability.

Ms. Sacharow is a 2010 magna cum laude graduate of Nova Southeastern University and a graduate of Florida State University with a double major in Criminology and International Affairs.  While attending law school, she was a Notes and Comments Editor of Nova Law Review, was a member of the Moot Court Board, competed nationally in moot court competitions and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers.

Maria N. Vernace joined Keller Landsberg in 2012.  Her practice is focused on legal malpractice defense, insurance defense and insurance coverage and liability and commercial litigation.

Ms. Vernace is a 2004 summa cum laude graduate of Nova Southeastern University and a graduate of Smith College.  While attending law school, she was an Articles Editor and then Editor-in-Chief of Nova Law Review, and received the Book Award for Family Law.  From 2004-2005, she clerked for the Honorable Gary M. Farmer, Fourth District Court of Appeal.

Elizabeth A. Izquierdo joined Keller Landsberg in 2016.  Her practice is focused on legal malpractice defense, insurance defense and insurance coverage and liability and commercial litigation.

Ms. Izquierdo is a 2002 graduate with honors of University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law and a graduate of the University of Central Florida where she earned her B.A. in English, summa cum laude.  While attending law school, Ms. Izquierdo was a member of the Florida Law Review where she served as Senior Research Editor.

Maria P. Gonzalez joined Keller Landsberg in 2016.  Her practice is focused on commercial litigation, legal malpractice defense, and insurance matters.

Ms. Gonzalez also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami, School of Law, teaching an Advanced Business Litigation Skills course.  From 2005-2006, she clerked for the Honorable Angel A. Cortiñas, Third District Court of Appeal.  Ms. Gonzalez earned her J.D., with honors, from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law.  She was a member of the Order of the Barristers at the University of Florida, and a member of the Justice Campbell Thornal Moot Court Team.
